Little Roots Summer Camp🌿

 This summer, Little Roots is taking outdoor exploration to the next level! We’ll be based on the beautiful 12-acre campus of the Marietta Johnson School of Organic Education, right on the bay, giving campers endless opportunities for hands-on adventure and discovery. 

Campers will dive into the world of native plants, coastal ecosystems, and biodiversity as they explore forests, wetlands, and waterfront habitats. From foraging walks to hands-on nature studies, they'll learn how plants and wildlife work together to create a thriving environment.

Each week, we venture beyond camp for field trips full of exploration and discovery. Whether it’s a beach trek, bayfront adventure, or forest expedition, campers will have up-close encounters with the natural world while wading through creeks, spotting wildlife, and learning through play.

Nature is the perfect setting for stretching, breathing, and resetting. Our yoga and mindfulness sessions help campers slow down and connect with their surroundings, preparing them for a day full of adventure.

From scavenger hunts and team challenges to Mardi Gras bead art and hands-on nature crafts, campers will have endless opportunities to play, create, and explore. We’ll build forts, race through obstacle courses, and enjoy plenty of movement, teamwork, and laughter.

With so much to discover right in our own backyard, Little Roots Summer Camp is the ultimate outdoor adventure—and we promise your child will come home dirty, tired, and full of stories to tell!
